
Tate Yoder
Communications DirectorTate Yoder is Maine Center for Coastal Fisheries’ Communications Director. Tate grew up in the small, rural coastal town of Penobscot and has established a deep love for the Maine coast through his connection to the natural world and the tight-knit communities here. He graduated from the University of Maine, Orono in 2020 with a B.A. in New Media and has over 7 years of experience working as a videographer and video editor, working with many Maine-based non-profits and for-profit businesses. He joins MCCF eager to incorporate new and applicable media and design strategies to support the Program and Development Teams, educational and organizational ventures, and the fishing communities at large. Tate brings imagery and visual stories from the field to our audience to foster a deeper connection to Maine’s commercial fisheries & industry, and understanding of our work and role in sustaining fishing in Downeast Maine.
