John McMillan, President of McMillan Offshore Survival Training, has been actively involved in the safety/survival training industry both internationally and in the US for the past 40 years. Currently, he teaches Ocean Survival at the Maine Maritime Academy in Castine and at the Academy’s facility in Bucksport. He also is USCG approved and conducts the USCG Fishing Vessel Drill Conductor course throughout New England. He is the United Stated representative to the International Association for Safety and Survival Training, IASST organization.
