Fisheries Education Specialist
Summary: The Maine Center for Coastal Fisheries (MCCF) Fisheries Education Specialist is responsible for overseeing formal and informal educational programming for MCCF. This includes participation in the Eastern Maine Skippers Program Steering committee, serving as primary liaison for EMSP connecting fisheries issues, fishermen and fishing community members, and other fisheries experts with both the curriculum and the teaching of the Eastern Maine Skippers Program (EMSP). In addition, this position oversees on-sight educational programming at the MCCF office in Stonington including the Discovery Wharf and other opportunities to connect MCCF programming to K-12 education.
