The 2016-17 Maine Scallop Season was finalized by the DMR Advisory Council. We have printed charts, and online versions below, of the rotational areas near Penobscot Bay and Mount Desert Island available for fishermen to pick up at Maine Center for Coastal Fisheries. In addition, a series of local scallop season outreach meetings will be hosted to review the upcoming season and management measures, as well as to have a general discussion regarding the scallop fishery. These meetings are open to the public.
